WHAT AGE GROUPS DO YOU CATER FOR? 

EVERYONE – I’ve entertained groups from 3 years old to 103! From around 2 1/2 to 3 years old, children will sit and watch my magic show. My magic act is always tailored for the age group I am performing for.

WHAT MAGIC SHOWS DO YOU OFFER?

 I offer two main packages  Marli’s Marvellous Magic Show and  The Perfect Party Package.

DO YOU DO OTHER MAGIC PACKAGES? 

YES! I can accommodate everything from a fete or fayre, wedding or family party, store opening or company event. I can even entertain adults with close-up magic. All you have to do is ask!

ARE YOU A PROFESSIONAL ENTERTAINER? 

YES Magic is my life! I have been performing as a magician in Kent for 30 or more years – professionally for 18years. I am a member of The Magic Circle, I carry Public Liability Insurance and I have been DBS checked to the highest level applicable.

DO YOU PERFORM MAGIC SHOWS  IN SCHOOLS, NURSERIES AND PRE-SCHOOLS? 

YES. I have many schools, playgroups and nurseries who book my magic show regularly – some have been customers for 15 years or more!

DO YOU PERFORM MAGIC SHOWS IN PRIVATES HOMES? 

YES I’ll perform in your home or garden.

DO YOU PERFORM MAGIC SHOWS IN VILLAGE HALLS? 

YES I frequently do my magic shows in all kinds of venues from village halls, to church halls, community centres, schools, sports centres etc.

CAN YOU PERFORM MAGIC AT OUR FETE OR SUMMER FAYRE?

 YES I’ll mix with the crowds performing magic and making balloons and if required round off the day with a magic show in the arena.

WHICH AREAS DO YOU COVER? 

I have worked all over the UK. I am based in Maidstone so a lot of my magic shows are in Kent and East Sussex. I’m a magician in Kent who covers the world!

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR SHOWS? 

My shows are all great value – the cost varies based on date, time, location and which package.  If you’d like a magic show outside the areas shown or have a different magic show in mind – get in touch and I will help!

HOW DO I BOOK AND WHEN DO I PAY? 

After we’ve agreed a booking by  email or on the phone we’ll need to arrange payment of your deposit by Card, or PayPal. This is normally £40. I’ll send you an email confirming all the details. Once you’ve checked that through – you reply to me agreeing the booking and the terms. Payment of the balance is “on the day” by cash or cheque – or in advance by Card/PayPal. All bookings are of course subject to my usual terms shown below.

ON THE DAY OF THE MAGIC SHOW – WHEN WILL YOU ARRIVE? 

Usually 20 – 30 minutes prior to the agreed starting time.

DO YOU NEED ANYTHING? 

Not much – just a parking space close by, a cuppa (tea, white no sugar please!) and some children to entertain!

MY PHILOSOPHY ON PERFORMING CHILDREN’S MAGIC 

So many people mention when they see me working as a children’s entertainer in Kent how much I seem to love my work.Here are a few thoughts to share about the philosophy I use as a children’s magician and entertainer….

Being a children’s entertainer means a lot to me. I take great pride in every aspect of my business from my marketing, customer service right through to he important part of being a happy, entertaining children’s magician. Magic and performing magic has been my passion since I was 7 years old. A magician came to my school in Swanley Kent… I was one of the lucky ones called up to help. I don’t recall the name of that magician – it was too long ago – but I do remember the fun of being on stage and apparently performing real magic.

When I became a full-time professional magician I made many decisions about how I would work and my philosophy as an entertainer. I have remained true to those principles.

THAT EVERYONE SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN MY MAGIC SHOWS.

I try to meet as many of the children as I can when I arrive for a magic show. When the show begins I work hard to engage every child at the party in the show.
Sometimes at a children’s party a child can be a little shy – sometimes quite wary of the magician. I pride myself that in 9 out of 10 situations like this, not only do I successfully encourage that child to watch, but I also get them up on stage helping me perform some great kids magic. Some other entertainers rush in and rush out – I prefer to spend time with the youngsters, this has helped build my success as a childrens entertainer in Kent.

TO INVOLVE THE PARENTS

Magic shows at birthday parties are family moments. Memories are made at these children’s parties. The parents can enjoy the show for the humour and pleasure of seeing their children enjoying some great magic and comedy.
